   It is ludicrous to assume that these atheists like harris, hitchens, and dawkins are somehow intelligent, or bright by the way they put words together. theirs are not sophisticated books intellectually. All their unverified arguments are in most part angry, bitter diatribes against religion. And one who takes their words as gospel is merely relating to their anger and bitterness without the required objectiveness of evaluating an argument.

   Now we get to the crux of it, on a level anyway.

   I’ve always been suspicious of two axioms of biblical belief:

   1. Inerrancy.
   2. Literalism.

   I think that the problem is that people have been using the phrase “unerring word of god” for so long that it’s almost like they can’t take it back – they’ve passed the point of no return.

   What this does is opens up hundreds of questions from both #1 and #2.

   Just seems far easier to focus on the message rather than the metrics.

   @Pat ,what percentage of your country is atheist? “We are all religious in one way or another”? Thats not true .We where all born atheists though is very true !
